After graduating college, writing, which was the bulk of my workload all but disappeared until my Missionary experience for 11 months around the world. I stumbled into blogging over that year and found great pleasure in relaying my experiences as well as my thoughts to those reading along back home. Having continued studying of biblical text, theology, historical and political texts, a passion emerged to share the plethora of wisdom, knowledge, truth and understanding I was being enlightened to. Too often in our world today do we settle for less than the truth and it affects far more than we might imagine. Whether it be a wrong turn while driving, a bad decision we make, misinformed political or business policy, the taking of a life, or the rejection of Christ Jesus as God, being blind to the truth is beyond detrimental.
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life there just isn’t time for everyone to read every book and fully consider it’s every implication, or to consider events in the media and in culture and determine their relevance or meaning. Let alone to find truth among the myriad of social and media outlets. I intend, with the sincerest integrity to encourage and challenge Christians and non-Christians alike in what we are thinking and believing, and the ways we are living and loving. Whether in our personal lives, religion, business, sports, politics, or internationally, I want to inspire you to pursue truth in your life, and thus freedom.
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
